The anticipation for a proper winter has finally come to fruition as Landour and Shimla are blanketed in fresh snow, creating a stunning winter landscape. This recent snowfall has transformed these popular hill stations into picturesque white paradises, mesmerizing both locals and visitors alike.

Landour, the serene sister town of Mussoorie, greeted residents with the enchanting sight of snowflakes falling gently. On January 23, the India Meteorological Department issued a fresh alert for widespread snowfall and rainfall across Himachal Pradesh, warning of potential disruptions to daily life. The IMD has forecasted a new western disturbance impacting the region, which may bring multiple spells of moderate to heavy snowfall over the coming days.
