Ajinkya Deo Shares Heartfelt Experience with Ranbir Kapoor on Ramayana Set

Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is one of Bollywood's most anticipated films, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. Alongside him are Rocking Star Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, with the first part set to release next year on Diwali.

Ajinkya Deo, known for his roles in Hindi and Marathi cinema, portrays Sage Vishwamitra, Lord Rama’s mentor, in Ramayana: Part 1. In a recent discussion, he expressed how comfortable Ranbir made him feel on set. Ajinkya remarked, “RK made me feel so comfortable. He often said, ‘Sir, beautiful shot yaar,’ which meant a lot to me. He is genuinely pure at heart, without any filters.”

Further praising Ranbir, Ajinkya noted, “He is what he is. This authenticity creates an immediate connection with the audience. Today, there are no barriers; everything is direct and genuine.”

Ramayana: Part 1 will premiere on Diwali 2026, while Ramayana: Part 2 is slated for release on Diwali 2027.
