Akhanda 2 Release Date Announced: Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Film Hits Theatres Soon

Nandamuri Balakrishna's much-awaited film, Akhanda 2, has finally received a release date. Initially set to release on December 5, the film was postponed at the last moment. However, the makers have now confirmed that Akhanda 2 will hit theatres on December 12.

The production house, 14 Reels Plus, announced the new release date on their official social media account. They expressed excitement and gratitude in their post, stating, "All set for the Divine Destruction at the box office! Feel the MASSive power of #Akhanda2 in theatres from DECEMBER 12 with grand premieres on December 11!"

The postponement came as a surprise to fans, with the distributor apologizing for the last-minute change. While specific reasons for the delay were not disclosed, there are speculations that an ongoing court case involving financial issues may have played a role.

Akhanda 2: Thaandavam is directed by Boyapati Srinu and is the sequel to the 2021 hit Akhanda. Apart from Balakrishna, the film features Samyuktha, Aadhi Pinishetty, and Harshaali Malhotra in pivotal roles. The soundtrack, created by Thaman S, has already garnered positive reviews.
