Behind the Scenes: Parkour Athlete Reveals Prabhas’ Action Sequence in The Raja Saab

Since the release of The Raja Saab, one of the main criticisms has been the noticeable use of body doubles for Prabhas. Amidst this backlash, a parkour athlete involved in the film shared a behind-the-scenes video showcasing Prabhas on set during a fight scene.

The athlete, Pavan, posted the video on his Instagram, expressing gratitude for being part of a film starring Prabhas. In the video, Prabhas is seen getting his makeup done before preparing for a shot. However, the footage also highlights the use of a body double, with a man dressed like Prabhas being pulled on a trolley during an action sequence, as well as performing parkour moves.

Additionally, Pavan shared a clip of the action scene he recorded while watching the film, reflecting on the excitement of seeing Prabhas live on the big screen, stating, “True fanboy moment — cinema hits different when passion meets big screens.”

In response to the body double controversy, director Maruthi previously commented that it is common for heroes to use doubles for various scenes, emphasizing the importance of their health and well-being. He stated, “Keeping aside their health, these artists are like diamonds.”

Despite the mixed reviews, The Raja Saab reportedly collected ₹112 crore worldwide on its opening day, and new scenes have since been added to address audience feedback.
