Dhurandhar’s Success: Ranveer Singh’s Blockbuster Marks 75 Days in Theaters
Ranveer Singh's film Dhurandhar has officially completed 75 days in theaters, solidifying its status as a blockbuster. Released in December of last year, the action thriller directed by Aditya Dhar has surpassed all expectations, becoming the highest-grossing film of 2025.
On February 17, the film's production team announced this remarkable milestone, sharing a celebratory poster with the caption, "Celebrating 75 days of Ghatak run in cinemas!" This achievement highlights the film's strong performance at the box office, amassing over ₹830 crores in India alone.
Dhurandhar has made history as the first Bollywood film to cross the ₹800 crore threshold in India and has achieved a global collection exceeding ₹1,300 crores, outperforming previous records held by other major films.
In Dhurandhar, Singh portrays an Indian spy named Hamza, who undertakes a mission to infiltrate a Baloch gang in Pakistan. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun.
The much-anticipated sequel, titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is set to release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid, and promises to draw significant attention as it competes with other major releases.
