Dude Box Office Collection: Day 1 Update on Pradeep Ranganathan’s Film

Dude box office collection day 1 (updated live): Director Keerthiswaran’s debut film, Dude, featuring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, premiered in theaters this Friday. The film has generated considerable buzz and has already exceeded the opening numbers of Pradeep’s prior film, Love Today, as well as Mamitha’s film, Premalu.

Dude Box Office Collection Day 1 @ 5 PM: As reported by trade sources, Dude has amassed ₹3.97 crore net in India by 5 PM on Friday. This marks a significant achievement, surpassing the opening of Love Today, which was also directed by Pradeep.

The film had an initial opening of ₹2.45 crore, while Premalu opened at ₹90 lakh. Both films are expected to see varied performances based on audience reception. Notably, Pradeep’s earlier film, Dragon, had an opening of ₹6.5 crore, which Dude is anticipated to exceed by day's end.

Dude also benefitted from ₹3.89 crore in advance bookings, leaving its total earnings yet to be finalized.

About Dude: The story revolves around two childhood friends, Agan (Pradeep) and Kural (Mamitha), who share a deep bond. The plot thickens when Kural proposes to Agan, leading to unexpected challenges stemming from family conflicts. The film features a cast that includes Rohini, Sarathkumar, and others in pivotal roles.

According to a review, Dude could have been a light-hearted love story, but Keerthiswaran's direction adds depth, putting both lead characters through significant trials.
