E-40 and Too $hort to Showcase Bay Area Hip-Hop at NFL Honors

LOS ANGELES — Rap legends E-40 and Too $hort are set to bring the vibrant sounds of Bay Area hip-hop to the NFL Honors stage. They will perform during the league's annual awards show on Thursday night in San Francisco.


The event will take place at the Palace of Fine Arts and will air at 9 p.m. ET on NBC and NFL Network, with streaming available on Peacock.


Hosted by actor Jon Hamm, the NFL Honors will celebrate the standout performances from the 2025 season, reveal the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026, and present the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award.


Among the presenters are Tiffany Haddish, Tracy Morgan, Druski, Rich Eisen, and Madelyn Cline, alongside current and former NFL players, including Michael Strahan, Steve Young, Micah Parsons, and Kurt Warner.


The performance by Too $hort and E-40 adds a distinct Bay Area flair to the Super Bowl week festivities, showcasing hometown hip-hop legends on one of the NFL's most prestigious platforms.


With over three decades in the industry, E-40 is celebrated for his unique rap style and insightful lyrics that share life lessons from his street-wise perspective.


Too $hort, a rap icon, is known for hits like “What's My Favorite Word?,” “Blow the Whistle,” “Shake That Monkey,” and “The Ghetto.”


The Super Bowl, scheduled at Levi’s Stadium in the San Francisco Bay Area on Sunday, will feature a matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, with Bad Bunny performing at halftime.
