IBPS Exam Calendar 2026: Essential Dates and Details

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially announced the exam calendar for 2026 on its website, ibps.in.

The IBPS PO/MT preliminary examination is tentatively set for August 22 and 23, while the mains examination will occur on October 4.

Here are the important dates for various examinations:

Registration for these exams will be conducted online, with a single registration process for both Preliminary and Main examinations. Candidates will need to upload specific documents as detailed in the official notifications:

• Photograph of the Applicant (20 kb to 50 kb in .jpeg)
• Signature of the Applicant (10 kb to 20 kb in .jpeg)
• Thumb impression of the Applicant (20 kb to 50 kb in .jpeg)
• Scanned copy of handwritten declaration (50 kb to 100 kb in .jpeg)

The photograph must be a recent passport-size image and clearly visible. Additionally, candidates must capture and upload a “live photograph” using a webcam or mobile device during the application process. The signature should be legible and not in capital letters.
