The registration for the TG TET January 2026 will conclude tomorrow, November 29, 2025. Candidates interested in taking the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test can apply through the official website at tgtet.aptonline.in.

Hall tickets for the exam will be available for download starting December 27, 2025. The TG TET exam is scheduled to take place from January 3 to January 31, 2026, in two shifts: the first shift from 9 AM to 11:30 AM and the second from 2 PM to 4:30 PM.

Both Paper I and II will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) worth 150 marks. The subjects covered include Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.

The question paper will be bilingual, featuring English alongside the chosen Language-I of the candidates, except for Sanskrit. For those selecting Sanskrit, the questions will be presented in Telugu followed by Sanskrit (Devanagari script).

How to Register for TG TET January 2026

To apply for the examination, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official TGTET website at tgtet.aptonline.in.

2. Click on the TG TET January 2026 registration link on the homepage.

3. A new page will open where you need to enter your registration details.

4. Click submit and complete the application form.

5. Make the application fee payment.

6. Click submit and download the confirmation page.

7. Keep a printed copy for future reference.

The examination fee is ₹750 for either Paper I or Paper II, and ₹1000 for candidates appearing for both papers.
