Prabhas Safe After Japan’s 7.6 Magnitude Earthquake, Confirms Director Maruthi
Tollywood star Prabhas and producer Shobu Yarlagadda were recently in Japan to promote the release of their film, Baahubali: The Epic. However, they faced a scare when a significant earthquake struck Japan's northern coast, measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale.
Concerns for Prabhas' safety arose after the earthquake, leading many fans to worry about his well-being during the tsunami warning that followed. In response, Maruthi, the director of Prabhas's upcoming film, The Raja Saab, took to social media to assure fans, stating, "Spoke to Darling, he is not in Tokyo and is safe, so no worries."
The earthquake, which occurred late on Monday, prompted the Japan Meteorological Agency to issue a tsunami warning, although it was later lifted. Residents were evacuated as tsunami waves reached the shoreline, particularly in the northern region of Aomori, near Misawa, where the quake struck.
Prabhas recently starred in the 2024 film, Kalki 2898 AD, and is set to appear in The Raja Saab and Fauzi next year. Fans can look forward to more from him, as he also has sequels to Kalki and Salaar lined up, along with an animated film titled Baahubali: The Eternal War.
