Prof. Atul Khosla of Shoolini University Recognized as Honorary Enterprise Professor by University of Melbourne
Shoolini University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Atul Khosla, has been honored with the title of Honorary Enterprise Professor by the University of Melbourne, recognized as one of the world’s top 20 universities.
This prestigious appointment places Prof. Khosla among a select group of global leaders in academia and entrepreneurship, acknowledged by the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Science for promoting global collaboration and innovative education.
Under his leadership, Shoolini University has emerged as India's top private university, according to Times Higher Education 2025, and ranks among the world’s top 300 universities in citations.
Prof. Khosla has been instrumental in establishing Shoolini as a model of research excellence, innovation, and social impact in the Global South.
The Honorary Enterprise Professorship is a rare distinction awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions at the intersection of academia, innovation, and enterprise, and is conferred only to those excelling in global academic-industry collaboration.
Commenting on his achievement, Prof. Khosla stated that this recognition from a leading global university underscores the capability of Indian institutions to compete on the world stage.
He added, “It reflects the growing collaboration between the Global North and South towards building a more inclusive future in knowledge.”
Additionally, Prof. Khosla leads Daskalos, an innovative initiative that collaborates with top global universities to establish campuses in India under the new framework set by the UGC.
