Rajinikanth: Choosing Acting in Every Lifetime

Superstar Rajinikanth shared his thoughts on his remarkable career during the closing ceremony of the 56th International Film Festival of India.

Reflecting on his five-decade journey in cinema, the 74-year-old actor expressed that it feels like just "10 to 15 years". He confidently stated that he would choose acting in "every lifetime".

At the event, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant honored Rajinikanth with a shawl and a memento for his contributions to Indian cinema.

Rajinikanth remarked, "If I look back, it seems like I've just been around for 10 to 15 years, and that's because I love cinema and acting." He added, "Even if I were to have 100 births, I would want to be born as an actor, as Rajinikanth. Thank you for your love and affection."

He dedicated the honor to the entire film industry, including producers, directors, and technicians who have shaped his career.

Known as Thalaivar, Rajinikanth has captivated audiences for generations with his unique style and performances. He made his debut in the 1975 film "Apoorva Ragangal" and has starred in numerous hits like "Baasha", "Enthiran", and the upcoming "Jailer 2".

During the festival, Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya, who directed the film "Lal Salaam", also attended the screening, showcasing their family's deep ties to the industry.

The film is a Tamil-language sports drama about aspiring cricketers overcoming obstacles to pursue their dreams, featuring Rajinikanth in a cameo role.

Rajinikanth's legacy continues to grow as he prepares for more exciting projects in the future.
