Students Feel Relieved After Taking Their First CBSE Board Exam
New Delhi, Nervousness transformed into confidence for many students after completing their Class 10 and 12 board exams on Tuesday. They described the papers as easy to moderate, primarily aligned with the NCERT syllabus.
The Class 10 and 12 board examinations, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), kicked off and will continue until March 10 and April 10, respectively.
Omisha Dhondiyal from Air Force Bal Bharati School shared her experience after taking the Class 10 Standard Mathematics paper, saying, "My anxiety faded once I reviewed the question paper. It was significantly easier than last year, and I finished well ahead of time, allowing for revisions."
A Class 12 student from the same school, who took the Bio-tech paper, noted that most questions were theoretical and drawn from the textbook. "This paper was much easier compared to the previous year," he stated.
Nishtha, a Class 10 student from Delhi Public School, described the exam as straightforward, with most questions coming directly from the NCERT materials. She expressed relief, saying, "The case-study questions were manageable, and despite my initial nerves, the paper was quite doable."
Another Class 12 student, who received Set 2 of the question paper, mentioned that even the multiple-choice questions were simpler this year. "MCQs are usually tough, but they were easier this time. Overall, the paper was NCERT-based and very manageable," he added.
Numerous students reported that the relatively easy exam helped them start their board assessments positively, with many feeling confident about scoring above 90 marks.
