Sunny Deol Shares Emotional Tribute to Dharmendra at Border 2 Song Launch
Recently, the team behind Border 2 celebrated the launch of their new song in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The event featured the release of Ghar Kab Aaoge, a reimagined version of the classic Sandese Aate Hai from the original Border film. This nostalgic track has resonated with fans, especially for Sunny Deol, who has been mourning the loss of his father, the legendary Dharmendra.
During the event, Sunny reflected on how his father's work influenced him. He shared, “I acted in Border because I was deeply moved by my father’s film Haqeeqat when I was very young. It inspired me to create a film similar to what my father did. After discussing with JP Dutta, we decided to make a film that resonates with the audience’s hearts.”
Sunny continued to express his pride in how his work has motivated many young individuals to consider joining the army. He stated, “Whenever I meet soldiers, they tell me that after watching my film, they decided to join the forces. I feel a deep connection with all of you.”
Additionally, actors Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, and Sudesh Berry, who starred in the original Border, will make cameo appearances in Border 2, which is set to hit theaters on January 23. This film promises to evoke powerful emotions and memories for audiences, honoring the legacy of both the original film and Dharmendra.
