Sutapa Sikdar Honors Irrfan Khan in His Hometown on Their Anniversary
On their wedding anniversary, Sutapa Sikdar, the wife of the late actor Irrfan Khan, traveled to his hometown to commemorate their special day. She shared a heartfelt message, recalling how Irrfan expressed a desire to remarry after 25 years of marriage.
Sutapa posted a video from her visit to Tonk, Irrfan's hometown, along with a touching note. She explained, "Our anniversary was on the 23rd, a date I chose to coincide with my birthday so he would remember it. Belated happy wedding anniversary, Irrfan."
In her tribute, she reflected on his wish to have a grand wedding ceremony after 25 years, saying, "You wanted to do everything we didn't get to do during our simple marriage. But destiny had other plans for us." She added, "In my part of the world, we are fasting for Ramadan, and I can hear your laughter as I celebrate our D-day in Tonk."

Irrfan Khan faced a neuroendocrine tumor diagnosis in 2018 and sought treatment abroad. He returned to India after nearly a year and completed his last film, 'Angrezi Medium.' Tragically, he passed away in April 2020, leaving behind a legacy that continues to be celebrated by fans and the film industry.
