UPPSC RO/ARO Mains Exam 2023 Scheduled for January 31 and February 1
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is set to hold the Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer (RO/ARO) Mains Examination-2023 on January 31 and February 1, 2025.
The first paper, General Studies, will take place on January 31 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by the second paper from 2 PM to 5 PM. This second paper consists of two sections: the first section will feature a conventional subjective test in General Hindi and Essay Writing from 2 PM to 4:30 PM, while the second section will be an objective test on general vocabulary and grammar from 4:30 PM to 5 PM.
On February 1, the Hindi Essay paper will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, as confirmed by Deputy Secretary of the Commission, Virendra Mani Tripathi.
Earlier, on September 16, the UPPSC announced the results of the RO/ARO Preliminary Examination-2023, revealing that 7,509 candidates qualified for the Mains. Among them, 6,093 candidates were selected for 338 Review Officer posts, 1,386 candidates for 79 Assistant Review Officer posts, and 30 candidates for two Assistant Review Officer (Accounts) positions.
A total of 1,076,004 candidates applied for the recruitment examination, with approximately 454,589 appearing for the preliminary test held on July 27, 2024.
