Vijay Fans Create Chaos at Jana Nayagan Trailer Launch
The excitement surrounding the upcoming film releases has taken a chaotic turn as Vijay's fans have expressed their displeasure towards Sivakarthikeyan's latest project, Parasakthi. This clash is particularly heated as the two films are set to release during the Pongal festival.
Videos surfacing on social media show Vijay's fans tearing down posters of Sivakarthikeyan's Parasakthi outside the Ritzy Cinemas in Madurai during the trailer screening of Jana Nayagan. The fans were vocal about their frustrations, questioning how Sivakarthikeyan's project could overshadow their beloved actor's final film.
In another incident, at a pre-release event for Parasakthi, fans chanted slogans supporting Vijay's political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), even before the event commenced. This fervent display of loyalty intensified when Sivakarthikeyan addressed the audience, causing fans to cheer and hoot whenever Vijay’s name was mentioned.
The upcoming releases, H Vinoth’s Jana Nayagan and Sudha Kongara’s Parasakthi, are set to compete directly, with Vijay’s film premiering on January 9 and Sivakarthikeyan’s on January 10. This scheduling has left fans of both actors in a state of unrest, as they rally support for their favorites while expressing their dissatisfaction with the overlapping release dates.
As the Pongal festivities approach, the rivalry between the fan bases is expected to escalate further, with both camps determined to claim victory at the box office.
