UKSSSC Cancels Graduate-Level Exam Due to Paper Leak: Re-Exam Scheduled
The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has canceled a graduate-level recruitment examination due to allegations of a paper leak.
Officials announced that the re-examination will be conducted within three months, with the exact date to be confirmed soon.
According to UKSSSC Chairman G S Martolia, the examination, initially held on September 21 for various government positions, has been scrapped.
During the exam, three pages of the question paper were reportedly leaked from a center in Haridwar, causing widespread unrest among candidates.
Over 100,000 candidates had participated in the examination for a total of 416 posts. In response to the incident, the Uttarakhand Unemployed Union has organized significant protests, prompting the state government to recommend a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry.
