The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has officially announced the date for the GUJCET 2026 exam. Scheduled for March 29, 2026, this common entrance test is crucial for Science stream students seeking admissions into engineering and pharmacy courses.
The GUJCET serves as a mandatory examination for those aspiring to enroll in degree engineering and pharmacy programs in Gujarat after completing Class 12. This exam has been administered annually since 2017 under a directive from the state’s Education Department.

Exam Timing and Centers

Exam Pattern

- Physics and Chemistry: Combined paper consisting of 80 questions (40 from each subject), totaling 80 marks to be completed in 120 minutes.
- Mathematics and Biology: Separate papers with 40 questions each, worth 40 marks, to be completed in 50 minutes.
Each subject will have its own OMR answer sheet for candidates to mark their responses.
Medium of Examination
Students may choose to take the GUJCET in Gujarati, English, or Hindi, as the question papers will be offered in all three languages.
