Entry to the centers will begin 1 hour and 30 minutes before the exam and will close 45 minutes prior to the start time.
Record-Breaking Number of Applicants
This recruitment drive, which has not occurred in the past seven years, has seen an unprecedented surge in applications. UPPSC officials reported that this LT Grade recruitment has garnered the highest number of applications ever for a single UPPSC recruitment event.
In 2018, there were 763,317 applicants for 10,768 posts, but this year's recruitment has attracted a staggering 1,236,238 applications, despite a reduction in vacancies by 3,302 positions.
Even before the online application process opened on July 28, over 2.175 million OTRs had been completed. By the application deadline on August 28, the total number of OTRs surged to 3,044,551, with nearly 869,000 new registrations in just one month.
This makes the LT Grade 2025 recruitment the largest in terms of applicant volume, surpassing the previous record set by the RO/ARO 2023 exam, which had 1,076,004 applications. The figure is also significantly higher than the prestigious PCS-2025, which received 626,387 applications.
Candidates are encouraged to download their admit cards as soon as possible and to read all instructions carefully before the examination.
