AP Intermediate 2026 Exam Dates Announced: Revised Timetable Released
The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has officially released the revised timetable for the Intermediate Public Examinations for the year 2026. This schedule is designed to align with the final list of general holidays for 2026, as announced on December 19, 2025.
The examinations for first and second-year students will kick off on February 23, 2026, and will continue until March 24, 2026. All exams are set to take place in the morning session from 9 AM to 12 noon.
First-year students will start with language papers such as Telugu, Sanskrit, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Oriya, Kannada, Arabic, French, and Persian. The English Paper-I will follow, along with subject papers including History, Mathematics, Biology, Economics, Physics, Commerce, and Chemistry on various dates.
For second-year students, exams will begin on February 24, starting with the second language paper. Subsequent papers for subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, Commerce, Economics, Sociology, and Fine Arts will be scheduled throughout the examination period, with Physics Paper-II slated for March 13.
The revised timetable also accommodates backlog students, allowing them to take subject papers alongside regular examinations.
In addition to the theory exams, the Ethics and Human Values examination is scheduled for January 21, 2026, and the Environmental Education examination for January 23, 2026. Practical examinations for general courses will run from February 1 to February 10, 2026, while those for vocational courses will take place from January 27 to February 10, 2026.
Key Changes
The previously released tentative timetable in October 2025 has been adjusted to reflect public holidays. The final schedule includes a shift in Day 8 examinations to March 4, 2026, and Day 21 examinations to March 21, 2026. Importantly, there are no changes to exam timings, syllabus, subjects, or paper patterns.
Students are encouraged to review the revised timetable and strategize their preparation accordingly.
