BITS Pilani Introduces New Courses in AI, Machine Learning, and Cybersecurity for Professionals

BITS Pilani has announced the launch of two new specialized courses aimed at working professionals: a Post Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML), and a Post Graduate Diploma in Cybersecurity. With the enrollment process currently underway on their official website, the first batch is set to commence in April.

The Post Graduate Certificate in AI & ML is an 11-month program tailored for graduates in fields like Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering (B.Sc., B.Tech., and above). This course focuses on developing skills in Generative AI, Agentic AI, MLOps for production-grade AI systems, and computer vision. It combines core courses with electives and a capstone project. Additionally, foundation modules in Python and Math are available for those who may need extra preparation, ensuring that learners from various academic backgrounds can participate.

On the other hand, the 12-month Post Graduate Diploma in Cybersecurity is open to candidates holding a four-year Integrated First Degree from BITS or an equivalent, such as B.E., B.Tech., M.Sc., or MCA. This program emphasizes advanced skills in AI/ML for security, modern cryptography, ethical hacking, and compliance frameworks. It combines core courses, electives, and practical projects to equip professionals with the knowledge needed to protect digital infrastructures against evolving threats.
