JEE Main Exam 2026: Upcoming Session 2 City Intimation Slip Release

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the JEE Main Exam 2026 Session 2 city intimation slip shortly. Candidates participating in the Joint Entrance Examination can download their city slips from the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.


According to the information bulletin, the city intimation slip is expected to be available during the second week of March 2026. While NTA has not provided a specific release date, based on previous years, the exam city slip is usually issued about 10 days before the exam date.


The JEE Main Session 1 exam is scheduled to take place from April 2 to April 9, 2026, in two shifts: the first from 9 AM to 12 noon and the second from 3 PM to 6 PM.


How to Download the JEE Main Exam City Slip


To download the exam city slip for Session 2, candidates can follow these simple steps:


1. Visit the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.


2. Click on the link for the JEE Main Exam 2026 Session 2 city intimation slip on the homepage.


3. A new page will open where you need to enter your login details.


4. Click 'Submit' to view your exam city slip.


5. Review the exam city slip and download it for your records.


6. It's advisable to keep a printed copy for future reference.


The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) comprises two papers. Paper 1 is for undergraduate engineering programs at NITs, IIITs, and other institutions, while Paper 2 is for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses. For further information, candidates should refer to the official JEE Main website.
