Ashoka University Opens Applications for 2026 Undergraduate Intake with 500 Scholarships

Ashoka University, located in Sonipat, Haryana, has officially begun accepting applications for its 2026 undergraduate program starting October 13, 2025. The university is known for its diverse range of programs that integrate classroom learning with real-world experiences.

Scholarships Available: This year, Ashoka University is offering 500 merit-based and need-based scholarships to facilitate access to quality education for students from various financial backgrounds.

Types of Scholarships:

1. Special Merit Scholarships (50 seats):

Full tuition fee waivers for students scoring in the top percentile of national exams such as:

• JEE Mains (98 percentile and above)
• IISER Aptitude Test (Top 2000 ranks)
• CMI Entrance Exam (Top 100 ranks)
• Indian National Olympiads (Qualified for training camp stage)

2. Achievers’ Merit Scholarships (150 seats):

Up to 100% tuition fee waivers for students achieving:

• 98% or higher in CBSE or ICSE/ISC Class X and XII board exams
• Strong performance in Ashoka’s admissions process

3. Need-Based Scholarships (300 seats):

These scholarships are available for students requiring financial assistance. The assessment considers the family's financial situation, including income and resources.

Note: Students granted merit scholarships may still apply for additional need-based support if necessary.

Application Process:

Applications will be accepted in four rounds from October 13, 2025, to May 31, 2026, providing ample opportunities for prospective students to apply.

Admission Tests: For Indian residents, admission assessments will occur in 37 centers across the country, with special provisions for students with disabilities.
