Final Call: CUET UG 2026 Registration Window Closes Tomorrow

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for CUET UG 2026 on February 26, 2026, at 11:50 PM. Candidates wishing to apply for the Common University Entrance Test can do so through the official website at cuet.nta.nic.in.


Once the registration window closes, the link will be deactivated at 11:50 PM. Be sure to complete your application before this deadline.


How to Register for CUET UG 2026


Follow these steps to register:


1. Visit the official CUET UG website at cuet.nta.nic.in.


2. Click on the CUET UG 2026 registration link available on the homepage.


3. A new page will open for candidate registration.


4. After registering, log in to your account.


5. Fill out the application form and pay the application fee.


6. Click submit to complete your application.


7. Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy for future reference.


The application fee varies based on category:


  • General: ₹1000 for up to 3 subjects, ₹400 for each additional subject.
  • OBC (NCL)/EWS: ₹900 for 3 subjects, ₹375 for each additional subject.
  • SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: ₹800 for up to 3 subjects, ₹350 for each additional subject.

The CUET UG exam is scheduled from May 11 to 31, 2026, covering 37 subjects. Candidates can choose a maximum of five subjects, including languages and the General Aptitude Test, regardless of their class XII subjects. Each question paper will consist of 50 compulsory questions, with 5 marks awarded for each correct answer and a deduction of 1 mark for incorrect answers.
