IBPS Clerk Mains Exam 2025: Key Details and Exam Pattern

The IBPS Clerk Mains Exam 2025 is anticipated to take place in November 2025. Candidates who successfully cleared the preliminary examination are eligible to participate in the main exam.

As per the provisional schedule, the IBPS Clerk Mains Exam is slated for November 29, 2025. This exam will feature a total of 155 questions, carrying a maximum of 200 marks. The exam duration is set for 120 minutes, and the question paper will be divided into four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude.

Candidates invited for the Mains Exam must present a stamped call letter from the Online Preliminary Exam, along with an authenticated copy of their ID proof. Although the main exam lasts 120 minutes, candidates should expect to be at the venue for around three hours. This additional time accounts for necessary formalities, such as document verification and logging in.

Be mindful of the penalties for incorrect answers in the Objective Tests. Each wrong response will incur a deduction of one-fourth (0.25) of the marks allocated to that question, impacting the overall score.

To proceed further in the selection process, candidates must achieve a minimum score in each test of the online main exam, as well as a minimum total score. For more information, candidates are encouraged to visit the official IBPS website.
