IBPS Releases Admit Cards for RRBs Officers Scale-I Prelims: Download Instructions and Essential Details

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the admit cards for the Online Preliminary Examination for Group "A" – Officers Scale-I under the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks (CRP-RRBs-XIV). Candidates who have applied for this position can now download their call letters from the official IBPS website. Please note that the admit card download will close on November 23.

It is crucial to have the admit card for entry into the examination center, and it must be accompanied by a valid photo ID and recent photographs.

To download the call letter, candidates should visit the IBPS portal for the Officer Scale-I preliminary exam, enter their registration number and password or date of birth, and complete the captcha verification. After logging in, candidates can access and print their admit cards. It is recommended to check all details carefully, including name, exam date, reporting time, and venue. A passport-size photograph, identical to the one submitted during the application, must be affixed on the call letter, and another photograph should be brought to the examination center.

IBPS has also provided a detailed information handout for the prelims, which outlines the exam pattern, marking scheme, and instructions. The preliminary exam consists of two objective sections—Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude—with 40 questions each. The total duration of the test is 45 minutes. Candidates must achieve the minimum cut-off marks in each section to qualify for the Main exam. High scores are essential in this competitive examination.

The prelims will be conducted in both English and the regional language relevant to the candidate's state. If there are discrepancies between the English and translated versions of questions, the English version will prevail. The handout specifies that one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for incorrect answers. Eligible PwD candidates will receive additional compensatory time as per norms.

On the exam day, candidates must bring their call letter with the affixed photograph, a valid original photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN, or voter ID, and a photocopy of the ID along with an extra photograph. The call letter and ID copy will be verified and returned to the candidate, who must keep them for the Main examination. Notably, calculators, books, mobile phones, or any electronic devices are prohibited, and late entry will not be allowed. Candidates are advised to visit the exam venue a day in advance to familiarize themselves with the location.

According to the IBPS schedule, the preliminary exam for RRBs Officers Scale-I will be conducted between November and December 2025. The Main exam is set to take place from December 2025 to February 2026, followed by interviews in January to February 2026. Provisional allotment is expected in March 2026.
