Priya Sachdev Kapur Remembers Sunjay Kapur on Her Birthday: An Emotional Tribute

Priya Sachdev Kapur recently marked her birthday with a heartfelt post dedicated to her late husband, Sunjay Kapur. This year is particularly poignant for her as it’s the first birthday since his passing, which she described as a ‘hard day’.

In her touching Instagram Stories, Priya expressed her feelings of loss, stating, "Today is a hard day for me. I always looked forward to my birthday cards and wishes from you. They were filled with your love, affection, and appreciation for me. I cannot celebrate my life when I have lost the love of my life!"

She shared a screenshot of an old tweet from Sunjay, where he wished her a happy birthday, saying, "When I count my blessings, I count you twice. You are the heart of our family, my best friend, and the most incredible mother to our children. Thank you for filling our lives with your warmth, love, and endless joy. Happiest Birthday to my forever partner."

Despite her sorrow, Priya found solace in her children’s love. She mentioned how her son Azarias created a birthday card for her and her daughter Safira wished her at midnight. "Through the children, I see the same love and appreciation you had for me, and I know you are still here with us," she reflected.

Sunjay Kapur tragically passed away from a heart attack while playing polo in London on June 12. His final rites were held in Delhi, surrounded by family and close friends. Sunjay was well-known as the chairman of Sona Comstar and had previously been married to actress Karisma Kapoor.

While Priya navigates this challenging time, her heartfelt memories of Sunjay continue to keep his spirit alive in their family.
