Telangana Inter Exams 2026: WhatsApp Hall Ticket Distribution for Parents

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has announced a new initiative for the Intermediate Public Examinations in 2026. Hall tickets will be sent directly to parents through WhatsApp, aiming to enhance transparency and parental involvement.

Parents of first-year and second-year Intermediate students will receive a download link for the hall ticket preview on their registered mobile numbers. This feature allows for verification of details before the final hall ticket is issued.

First-year students can access their hall ticket preview by entering their SSC roll number and date of birth, while second-year students need to provide their first-year hall ticket number and date of birth.

For second-year students, the preview will include details of first-year marks for passed subjects and information on any failed subjects, along with the complete examination schedule. This will help parents better understand their children’s academic status.

Parents are advised to carefully check all details on the preview hall ticket, including subjects, medium, group, photograph, signature, and personal particulars. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately to the college principal or the District Intermediate Education Officer (DIEO).

The board has also released the schedule for practical examinations, which will take place from February 2 to February 21, 2026. First-year students will have their English practical exam on January 21, while second-year students will follow on January 22. Additional exams will include Ethics and Human Values on January 23 and Environmental Education on January 24.

This WhatsApp-based communication system is introduced considering the high smartphone usage among parents. It aims to ensure timely access to hall tickets, early detection of errors, and improved coordination among students, parents, colleges, and district authorities, thereby facilitating a smooth conduct of the Intermediate Public Examinations 2026.
