UP Board Updates Timetable for 2026 10th and 12th Exams

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced a revised schedule for the 2026 High School and Intermediate examinations, modifying the timings for select papers.

Notable changes include the Hindi and Elementary Hindi exams for Class 10, now scheduled for the morning shift (8:30 AM to 11:45 AM) on February 18, 2026. Previously, the Hindi paper was set for the morning, and the Elementary Hindi paper was in the afternoon.

For Class 12 students, both the General Hindi and Hindi papers are now moved to the afternoon shift (2:00 PM to 5:15 PM) on the same day, shifting from their prior morning and afternoon placements.

Additionally, the Class 12 Sanskrit examination, initially set for February 20 in the morning shift, has been rescheduled to March 12, 2026, in the afternoon shift.

Aside from these adjustments, all other examinations will proceed as per the previously announced schedule. The UP Board's 2026 exams will start on February 18 and conclude on March 12, taking place in two shifts: the morning shift from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM and the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

With over 52 lakh students registered, including 27,50,945 High School candidates and 24,79,352 Intermediate candidates, this year's exams are expected to be significant. The updated timetable is available on the official UP Board website.
