UPSC CDS Exam I 2026: Apply Now for 451 Vacancies

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the notification for the CDS Exam I 2026. Interested candidates can apply for a total of 451 vacancies directly through the official UPSC website.


The last date for application submission is December 30, 2025. This examination aims to recruit candidates for various positions in the Indian Armed Forces.


Vacancy Breakdown


1. Indian Military Academy: 100 vacancies


2. Indian Naval Academy: 26 vacancies


3. Air Force Academy: 32 vacancies


4. Officers’ Training Academy: 293 vacancies


Eligibility Criteria


Educational Qualifications


(i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, candidates must possess a degree from a recognized university or equivalent.


(ii) For the Indian Naval Academy, a degree in Engineering from a recognized institution is required.


(iii) For the Air Force Academy, candidates should have a degree from a recognized university with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level or a Bachelor of Engineering.


Application Fee


The application fee is ₹200 for all candidates, while female candidates and those from SC/ST categories are exempted from the fee. Payments can be made using various methods including credit/debit cards and UPI.

3. A new page will appear where candidates must register themselves.


4. After registration, fill out the application form.


5. Complete the payment process.
