Vineet Kumar Singh: The Transformative Power of Education in Society
Mumbai, Actor Vineet Kumar Singh, known for his role in Netflix's new drama 'Hello Bachhon', emphasizes the importance of accessible quality education.
This series, inspired by the true story of Alakh Pandey, founder of 'Physics Wallah', highlights a critical need in society. As Singh notes, a key dialogue in the show asserts that 'education shouldn't be a luxury; it's a birthright.'
Singh believes education profoundly impacts both individuals and society. He stated, 'When an educated person is guided by a good teacher, they become a better human being. Our society improves as a result. Education doesn't just change your life; it enhances our society as well.'
Although the show is inspired by real events, Singh clarifies that it is not a biopic. He feels a weight of responsibility portraying a character that resonates with many people.
Born in Varanasi, Singh initially pursued medicine to fulfill his father's dream before shifting to acting. This journey gives him a unique perspective on the student-teacher dynamic, which he describes as a 'destiny' to be part of this educative narrative.
Singh shared, 'I promised my father I would continue my studies while pursuing acting. My experiences as both a student and the son of a mathematician have shaped my understanding of education.'
The writing team includes Abhishek Yadav, Ankit Yadav, Vernaali, and Sandeep Singh, with executive producers Vijay Koshy and Shreyansh Pandey. The series also stars Vikram Kochhar and Girija Oak Godbole in significant roles and is currently streaming on Netflix.
