In a recent interview, actress Deepshikha opened up about her fond memories of working with Salman Khan during the filming of their 2007 hit, 'Partner'. She affectionately referred to him as 'Pitthu', highlighting his unwavering support and kindness.
Deepshikha praised Salman for his humility, particularly in how he treated co-star Govinda. She stated, “The way Salman treated Govinda, he never made him feel that his time was up. It was Salman’s baddapan.” This respect fostered a positive atmosphere on set, where Salman would even listen to Govinda’s advice on tackling scenes.
Recalling a lighter moment, Deepshikha shared, “When I mentioned I loved jet skiing, Salman ordered a jet ski for me the next day.” She expressed deep gratitude for Salman’s emotional support during her challenging times, particularly her divorce, saying he always uplifted her spirits.
Directed by David Dhawan, 'Partner' also starred Govinda, Katrina Kaif, and Lara Dutta, and became a notable success at the box office, grossing around ₹100.91 crore globally. The film is celebrated for its blend of comedy and friendship, which not only revitalized Govinda's career but also reinforced Salman Khan's star power in the mid-2000s.
Currently, Deepshikha is featured in the action crime drama 'Bombay', while Salman Khan is busy working on 'Battle of Galwan', a war drama centered on the 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops.
