Bobby Deol Opens Up About Sleeping with His Parents Until Age 14
Bobby Deol has been making waves recently with his performances in projects like Animal (2023) and Aryan Khan’s web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. In a heartfelt interview, the actor shared a personal aspect of his childhood, revealing that he slept in his parents' room until he was 14 years old.
He explained that this was a common practice in many Indian households where families often share close quarters. Bobby fondly recalled, "I was lucky to sleep with my parents until I was 14. My father always kept the lights on while sleeping, which made me accustomed to it. My mother often suggested I sleep in another room, but I preferred being near them."
He further admitted, "I don’t like it when it’s dark. My wife and I often argue about it because I need some light to sleep. We even installed a night light on the floor to help with that."
Reflecting on his upbringing, Bobby shared details about sharing rooms with his siblings. "My sisters had one room, and my brother had another. I often cried when my mother told me to share a room with him. I eventually got used to sleeping alone, but the bonding moments with my family remain special to me."
Bobby's anecdotes offer a glimpse into the close-knit dynamics of the Deol family, filled with warmth and cherished traditions.
