Dhruv Vikram Embraces His Star Kid Status and Seeks Acceptance
Dhruv Vikram, the son of renowned actor Vikram, recently opened up about his experiences as a star kid while promoting his latest film, Bison Kaalamaadan, in Hyderabad. The movie is set to release in Telugu on October 24.
During a press conference, Dhruv acknowledged the privileges that come with his parentage, stating, "It’s true that I’m a star kid, and I am able to get opportunities. But, I am willing to do whatever it takes for the people to accept me, to love me, to love my work and for me to find a place in Tamil, Telugu, and Indian cinema. Until then, I think I will continue to work."
He emphasized his dedication to the craft, comparing his efforts to that of someone without a film background. "In this movie, I constantly thought about how much effort someone in my position, but without a film background, would put in. I aimed to match that level of commitment," he explained.
Bison Kaalamaadan, directed by Mari Selvaraj, revolves around the life of kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan, focusing on his struggles against caste discrimination in sports. This film marks Dhruv's fourth project, following his roles in Adithya Varma, Varmaa, and Mahaan.
As he continues to navigate the film industry, Dhruv Vikram is determined to earn his place through hard work and dedication.
