Rajinikanth’s Brother Sathyanarayana Rao Out of ICU, Superstar Returns to Chennai
Superstar Rajinikanth recently faced a distressing situation when he learned that his elder brother, Sathyanarayana Rao Gaikwad, suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. Without delay, Rajinikanth traveled to Bengaluru to be by his brother's side.
Fortunately, an update reveals that 82-year-old Sathyanarayana is recovering well and has been moved out of the ICU.
His family had rushed him to a private hospital in Electronic City, Bengaluru, where doctors monitored his health closely. Rajinikanth visited his brother promptly to assess the situation.
According to a statement from Rajinikanth's team, “He is better and not in ICU anymore. Rajinikanth sir had rushed to meet him to check on him. Rajinikanth sir is now returning to Chennai.”
Numerous videos and images of Rajinikanth arriving at the hospital have surfaced online, showcasing the superstar's concern for his brother.
Sathyanarayana has played a vital role in Rajinikanth's early life and career, and the two share a strong bond. Rajinikanth celebrated his brother's 80th birthday in a grand manner last year.
Currently, Rajinikanth, who is 74, is engaged in shooting for his upcoming film, Jailer 2. He had recently traveled to Goa for filming but has now returned to Chennai.
Rajinikanth Collaborates with Kamal Haasan
On a related note, Rajinikanth is set to star in a film directed by Sundar C, announced by Kamal Haasan on his birthday, November 5. This collaboration marks a significant moment in their decades-long friendship.
The film is expected to be released during Pongal 2027 and will be Rajinikanth's 173rd project, produced by Kamal’s Raaj Kamal Films International.
