Anurag Kashyap Responds to Epstein Files Allegations: ‘I’ve Never Been to Beijing’
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has recently addressed claims linking him to the controversial Epstein files, which have stirred significant buzz globally. These files contain documents, images, and videos that outline the illegal activities of the late Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.
Among the numerous high-profile names mentioned, Kashyap’s name has surfaced, described as a 'Famous Bollywood director' allegedly involved in an event associated with Epstein in Beijing in 2017.
In an exclusive statement, Kashyap categorically denied these allegations, stating, “I’ve no clue about this. I receive around 15 invitations as a speaker each month, and I rarely respond. Also, I have never been to Beijing in my life!”
He further commented on the dubious nature of the documents, saying, “It’s some random email, and the clickbait involving my name is more popular than my films.”
This statement effectively quashes the rumors swirling around the 'Gangs of Wasseypur' director, who has made a notable impact on the international film scene.
