Arbaaz Khan Provides Positive Update on Father Salim Khan’s Health
Veteran writer Salim Khan was hospitalized on February 17 due to a brain haemorrhage and is currently under medical observation. His son, Arbaaz Khan, has provided an update, stating that his father's health is improving.
During a recent Iftar party in Mumbai, Arbaaz was approached by paparazzi, where he shared, "He is better now, he's improving now. Dad is better." When asked about Salim Khan's potential discharge from the hospital, he responded, "Soon. Inshallah."
Salim Khan was admitted to the ICU at Lilavati Hospital by his personal doctor. Following the news of his condition, family members, including Salman Khan, rushed to the hospital. A day later, Dr. Jalil Parkar confirmed that Salim had undergone a minor procedure after experiencing a small haemorrhage.
“There was minimal brain haemorrhage. A small procedure was done, and it was successful. He is fine and stable but is still on a ventilator. We hope to take him off the ventilator by tomorrow,” Dr. Parkar stated.
Despite experiencing high blood pressure upon admission, the doctor noted that Salim was receiving immediate care. Several celebrities, including Aamir Khan and Malaika Arora, have visited him, but the family has yet to issue an official statement regarding his health.
In recent professional news, Arbaaz Khan was seen in the 2026 action drama film 'Bihu Attack' and has welcomed his first child with Sshura Khan in 2025. The couple named their daughter Sipaara Khan, adding joy to his personal life.
