The Bharathirajaa Hospital in Chennai posted a video on Instagram featuring Bharathiraja interacting with medical staff. The caption highlighted his legendary status in Tamil cinema, stating, "Iyakkunar Imayam" Bharathiraja is receiving treatment and is now recovering well, thanks to the excellent care provided by his close friend, Dr. Nadesan, who is also the hospital's Managing Director.

Filmmaker JSK Satishkumar expressed his relief by sharing the video on social media, wishing Bharathiraja a happy and healthy life, hoping he reaches the remarkable milestone of 100 years.
