Paresh Rawal Shares Excitement About Reunion with Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan in ‘Bhooth Bangla’
In a recent interview, Paresh Rawal expressed his joy about reuniting with Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan for the film 'Bhooth Bangla'. This collaboration marks a long-awaited return for the trio, known for their past comedy successes.
Rawal fondly recalled their previous hits, including 'Garam Masala' and 'Hera Pheri', highlighting the fun atmosphere on set. He mentioned, "It was a lot of fun to be back. Working with such talented individuals makes the journey worthwhile and enhances your well-being."
Shooting took place at Chomu Palace in Rajasthan, the same location as their 2007 film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', adding a layer of nostalgia for Rawal.
He also teased the film's unique plot involving a wedding and a ghost, stating, "This is a beautifully shot horror film that you haven't seen before."
Rawal praised Priyadarshan's directorial skills, noting his efficiency and clarity on set. "He finishes shoots ahead of schedule, which is a rare quality in directors," Rawal remarked.
The film's release has been rescheduled to April 17, creating a dedicated window for audiences. Rawal emphasized the importance of business decisions in the film industry, stating that it's crucial to give each film a fair chance.
Despite the film's ghostly theme, Rawal humorously mentioned that he does not believe in ghosts, quipping that only a few humans he met were scarier than spirits. He believes in taking comedy seriously, ensuring that his performances resonate with audiences.
Looking ahead, the trio is also set to collaborate on 'Hera Pheri 3', a project that faced challenges but ultimately brought them back together. Rawal assured fans that there is no animosity between him and Kumar, reinforcing their strong friendship.
