Admissions Open for the 2026 Global Leadership Programme at School of Global Leadership

The School of Global Leadership (SoGL) has officially announced the opening of admissions for its Post Graduate Programme in Global Leadership (PGP-GL) for the 2026 cohort. This programme is designed for mid-career professionals who aim to enhance their leadership and decision-making capabilities in a complex global landscape.

Applications are now being accepted from January 5 to February 15, 2026, with classes set to commence on April 20, 2026. The PGP-GL is tailored for working professionals from diverse sectors such as business, public policy, law, technology, journalism, social impact, and entrepreneurship.

SoGL emphasizes that leadership transcends hierarchical structures and is rooted in the ability to exercise sound judgment, navigate uncertainty, and collaborate across various sectors. The programme prioritizes ethical decision-making and the practical skills necessary for effective leadership in ambiguous situations.

A standout feature of the PGP-GL is its global residency model, which immerses participants in leadership contexts across seven countries: India, China, the UAE, the United States, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands. These residencies are designed to complement theoretical learning, placing students in real-world scenarios where they can interact with practitioners and engage with diverse policy environments.

Jayant Sinha, Chair of SoGL, remarked that the institution is founded on the principle that true leadership is tested during uncertain times. He highlighted the programme's focus on experiential learning, global exposure, and critical reflection aimed at cultivating sound judgment rather than just theoretical knowledge.

The admissions process for the PGP-GL includes a structured evaluation based on an online application, resume, academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a video statement of purpose. Candidates are evaluated on their intellectual motivation, leadership maturity, and readiness for an intensive learning experience.

To qualify, applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant professional experience, or a master’s degree. By assembling participants from varied professional backgrounds, SoGL seeks to foster a learning environment that mirrors the complexities of real-world leadership challenges.

With the application window now open, the programme is poised to attract professionals eager for global exposure, peer learning opportunities, and practical frameworks applicable to their future leadership roles.
