KSET 2025: Essential Guidelines for Today’s Exam

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is set to conduct the KSET 2025 exam today, November 2, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Candidates must adhere to essential guidelines for a smooth examination process.


The KSET exam consists of two papers, both featuring objective type multiple-choice questions. Paper I has 100 marks, while Paper II totals 200 marks.


Here are the key points candidates should note:


Reporting Time and OMR Sheet

Candidates may enter the examination center starting at 8:30 AM. Entry requires showing both the admit card and a valid identity card.


Verification of the admit card and candidate's photograph will take place. The invigilator will distribute the O.M.R. sheets for both papers. Candidates should carefully write their names and roll numbers on the answer sheets and fill in the appropriate circles accurately.


It's important to note that candidates cannot leave the examination hall until the final bell rings.


Dress Code for Male Candidates

  1. Half-sleeved shirts are required; full-sleeve shirts are not allowed.
  2. Trousers with minimal pockets are preferred; jeans and kurta pyjamas are prohibited.
  3. Light clothing without zippers, large buttons, or heavy embroidery is recommended.
  4. Shoes are not permitted; sandals or flat slippers are advised.
  5. No metal jewelry is allowed, including around the neck, earrings, rings, or bracelets.

Dress Code for Female Candidates

  1. Clothes with elaborate embroidery, flowers, or buttons are prohibited.
  2. Half-sleeved clothes are mandatory; full-sleeved garments and jeans are not allowed.
  3. Flat-soled slippers or sandals are required; high-heeled footwear is not permitted.
  4. Metal jewelry is not allowed except for Mangalsutra and toe rings.

Prohibited Items

Candidates must not bring the following items to the examination center:

  1. Electronic devices including mobile phones, earphones, or calculators.
  2. Edible items and non-transparent water bottles.
  3. Pencils, paper, scales, erasers, and geometry boxes.
  4. Caps or hats, and masks covering the face and ears.

Permitted Items:

  1. An admit card is mandatory.
  2. A valid government-issued photo ID and a blue/black ballpoint pen are required.
