Aayush Sharma Shares Parents’ Shock Over His Marriage to Arpita Khan

Bollywood actor Aayush Sharma married Arpita Khan, sister of superstar Salman Khan, before making his film debut. In a recent conversation, he shared how Salman's support was crucial to him, while his father was taken aback by the news of their relationship.

Aayush explained that his friendship with Arpita blossomed after both had ended previous relationships. As he was struggling to enter the industry, Arpita expressed her desire to marry him. The thought of breaking this news to Salman was daunting for Aayush.

He recalled a moment when Salman walked in on them watching 'Koffee With Karan' and realized they were dating. Expecting a confrontation, Aayush was instead met with understanding when Salman later agreed to meet him. During their meeting, Aayush revealed his aspirations of becoming an actor and opening a restaurant. Salman encouraged his dream but candidly pointed out that Aayush needed more training.

When Aayush introduced Arpita to his parents, he was anxious about their reaction. His mother was surprised to learn she was Salman Khan's sister, while his father initially questioned what she saw in him. This left Aayush feeling concerned, especially when his father expressed disbelief about Arpita's family accepting him.

Despite his father's skepticism, Aayush's determination to marry Arpita prevailed, and they tied the knot in November 2014 at the Taj Falaknuma hotel in Hyderabad. The couple welcomed their first child, son Ahil, in 2016, followed by their daughter Ayat in 2019. Aayush made his Bollywood debut in 'Loveyatri' in 2018, which was produced by Salman Khan.
