Chinmayi Stands Up for Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Team After Mob Incident

Recently, Samantha Ruth Prabhu attended a store opening in Hyderabad where she was overwhelmed by fans. Following the incident, her team received criticism for not adequately protecting her. In response, singer Chinmayi Sripada defended them, highlighting the challenges they faced during the chaotic situation.

Chinmayi noted that her friend Arya, part of Samantha's team, was likely left with injuries while trying to shield the actress from the crowd. She emphasized that it is not the actress's responsibility to manage fan behavior, stating, "Controlling a mob of humans who don’t know basic civil behavior is not an actress’ job."

Videos of the incident showed Samantha struggling to reach her car amidst the throng of fans, with many criticizing the lack of proper security measures. Some suggested that tighter security arrangements could help prevent such incidents in the future.

This comes on the heels of another incident where actress Nidhhi Agerwal was similarly mobbed at an event, raising concerns about fan behavior and event management.
