Dhurandhar 2 Box Office: Ranveer Singh’s Film Surges Past ₹1095 Crore in 27 Days
Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 27: Aditya Dhar’s Ranveer Singh-starrer, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is nearing one month since its release and is still performing strongly at the box office. Released on March 19, the film has crossed the ₹1095 crore mark at the domestic box office.
For context, even films like Dacoit, which were released this month, are earning less than Dhurandhar.
Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection
According to trade estimates, Dhurandhar 2 collected ₹6.69 crore net in India on Tuesday, raising its total domestic earnings to ₹1095.31 crore. The film earned ₹674.17 crore in its first week, ₹263.85 crore in its second week, and ₹110.60 crore in its third.
On Friday, the film recorded a net of ₹7 crore. It showed an increase over the weekend, bringing in ₹13 crore and ₹14.50 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. On Monday, it experienced a slight drop but still managed to pull in ₹5.20 crore.
For comparison, Shaneil Deo’s Dacoit, which also released in Hindi and Telugu, had a Friday collection of ₹6.55 crore, with subsequent earnings of ₹6.85 crore on Saturday and ₹6.40 crore on Sunday. Its Monday collection stood at ₹2.70 crore, followed by ₹2.75 crore on Tuesday.
Dhurandhar 2 Cast Member Denies Payment Rumors
Recently, speculation arose regarding the earnings of the Dhurandhar film cast. Vivek Sinha, who portrayed the hijacker Zahoor Mistry, denied claims that he was paid ₹1 crore for his role. The film features Ranveer Singh alongside other notable actors like R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal.
In an Instagram video, he clarified, “Some people on social media have circulated a chart about the earnings of Dhurandhar actors. My name is included, with figures claiming I received ₹80 lakh or even ₹1 crore. I can assure you, I did not receive that much.”
